DIY Wedding Series: Bridesmaid Jewelry Dishes
Welcome back to my DIY wedding series! Today I will be sharing how I made custom jewelry dishes for my bridesmaids!
I had 5 bridesmaids, and I found a pack of 6 jewelry dishes on Amazon for $24.99. Before I painted these jewelry dishes, I asked all of my bridesmaids what their top 3 favorite colors are. From there, I painted those colored flowers on jewelry dishes with multi-surface paint. Each of the flowers and leaves have a few layers. I also used the end of a paint brush to make the polka dots since I do not have a dotting tool. This paint bakes on in the oven. Each jewelry dish was unique to each of my bridesmaids, and they all loved them! This is such an inexpensive and fun gift to give if you are a bride on a budget!
For this project, you will need:
- Jewelry dishes (I got mine from Amazon)
- Multi-surface paint (you can find this at most craft stores)
- Paint brushes
- An oven
I hope this post is helpful, and if you decide to try these jewelry dishes, tag @sydneyj.artanddesign on Instagram or Facebook.
Have a blessed day,
