DIY Wedding Series: Art Prints as Guest Favors
Welcome to my DIY wedding series! As a newlywed myself, I know how stressful and expensive all of the wedding details can be. I will be sharing inexpensive DIY projects that I did for my wedding, and they are so easy to replicate! This first project is an idea for wedding guest favors. I painted the place where my husband proposed to me and printed them for our guest favors. They were a hit, and everyone loved them! It is also so meaningful and will be a reminder of your wedding for years to come.
If you are worried about not being able to paint, don't worry! You can either have someone local or on Etsy paint the picture you want, and you can print the rest at home. If you are worried about the money to spend on buying the art, you can always print a picture you took on your phone. If you need help choosing the art/photograph, I will give you a few ideas. Some examples are the place you got engaged, the wedding venue, your first date spot, or any significant place to you and your future spouse.
For this project, you will need:
- A printer
- Photo paper (I used A-SUB premium satin photo paper 4x6 72lb on Amazon)
- Art bags (I got some at Hobby Lobby)
I hope this post gave you inspiration and if you decide to try this wedding guest favor idea, tag @sydneyj.artanddesign on Instagram or Facebook.
Have a blessed day,
Sydney Clinton
